Mnangagwa Slams Resolutions without Results

By Staff Reporter
President Emmerson Mnangagwa has thrown down the gauntlet to Zanu PF: resolutions mean nothing without real, measurable action.
In a resounding address, Mnangagwa made it unmistakably clear that the era of empty promises is over. He demanded that his party step beyond the comfort of declarations and step up to the immense responsibility of delivering concrete outcomes for all Zimbabweans.
Mnangagwaโs message was uncompromisingโimplementation must be the new watchword. He insisted that Zanu PF must rigorously track, review, and evaluate every policy it sets in motion, holding itself fully accountable for turning decisions into tangible progress in economic development and quality of life.
He challenged his party to let Zimbabweโs national interests and citizensโ well-being direct every economic agreement, reaffirming that only real follow-through can make Zanu PF the true guarantor of the nationโs future. Lofty statements, he warned, are hollow unless matched by visible impact.
Mnangagwa showcased ambitious targetsโ8.3% economic growth in 2025, 2.4 million tonnes of grain, and robust agricultural expansionโbut his underlying message was simple: numbers and projections are worthless if they arenโt realized in everyday Zimbabwean lives.
The president called for honesty, discipline, and vigilance. Organizational might, party unity, and electoral victories are important, he said, but their value depends entirely on whether resolutions are pursued with relentless determination and produce lasting results.
His closing charge to Zanu PF could not have been clearer: โLet us be the party that is measured not by the number of resolutions we pass, but by the reality we create for our people.โ
