Controversial Zanu PF official Killer Zivhu has launched a scathing attack on ruling party supporters demanding the removal of Vice President Constantino Chiwenga, warning them against what he views as reckless calls for the senior politician’s dismissal.
In a strongly worded statement on Tuesday, Zivhu ridiculed the critics, questioning their judgment and suggesting they were under the influence of drugs and alcohol.
“Vapfana munosvuta mbanje yakasanganiswa ,,,,, madhakwa mongomuka muchiti General havana basa, kutoita noise, hanzi mudzingeyi, asi munofunga kuti imbudzi ino dzingwa mugarden? Miswaii, munoremara vapfana,” Zivhu said.
His remarks were directed at Zanu PF elements who have been openly calling for Chiwenga to be pushed out, amid growing political tensions within the ruling party.
Zivhu’s outburst highlights the increasingly heated debate surrounding Chiwenga’s position in the party, as disagreements over his political future continue to generate controversy among Zanu PF supporters.
The outspoken official appeared to caution those pushing for the Vice President’s removal that dismissing a senior political figure was not as simple as they seemed to imagine.
