You are a sell out, resign and go!! – Mliswa tells George Charamba

By Staff Reporter
OUTSPOKEN politician, Temba Mliswa has criticized George Charamba accusing him of being a sellout who is not serving his superior with best interests.
Charamba is the Deputy Chief Secretary for Presidential Communications in the Office of the President and Cabinet of Zimbabwe. He serves as the official spokesperson for President Emmerson Mnangagwa and previously held the same role for the late former president Robert Mugabe.
Taking it to X Mliswa tore into George Charamba effectively labeling a sellout who must resign as a matter of urgency.
“George Charamba, we are not naïve. This is an unequivocal suggestion to the President to disregard the counsel of those around him. It is long overdue for you to have departed from your post, as your unwavering disservice to your superior has been all too evident.
“Despite his awareness of your character, he made the choice to retain you; yet, you have continued to exhibit an astonishing level of disrespect to him and your mandate. Your actions this time have clearly crossed a line. Who exactly are you attempting to serve? Remember that one cannot effectively serve the demands of two masters without failing both,” he said.
Mliswa urged Charamba to step down in good time and make way for the younger generation to rise and take over.
“While it is the prerogative of the President to dismiss anyone, it is still incumbent upon us to name and shame those who are selling out. We know many of them and soon we shall be stating names as they are. There is a whole cartel that is leaking inside information for nefarious political agendas,” he added.
