President Emmerson Mnangagwa has appointed businessman Kudakwashe Tagwirei to the Zanu PF Politburo as Secretary for Economic Affairs and Investment Promotion.

The reshuffle also sees Obert Mpofu moved to the partyโ€™s Council of Elders, while former legislator Mayor Wadyajena returns to the Central Committee.

Party spokesperson Ambassador Christopher Mutsvangwa announced the changes on Thursday, saying they take immediate effect.
