THE Zimbabwe Republic Police has dismissed as fake a video circulating on social media alleging that Commissioner-General Stephen Mutamba has resigned from the Police Services.
According to the ZRP, the video was generated using Artificial Intelligence.
In a statement, national police spokesperson Commissioner Paul Nyathi said, โThe ZRP, has noted with concern a fake video circulating on social media alleging that the Commissioner General of Police Stephen Mutamba has resigned from his position.
โThe ZRP dismisses this video as fake and was generated using Artificial Intelligence. As we speak, the Commissioner General is executing his constitutional duties as the Commissioner General of Police.โ
