Man kills 27 years old wife over 300 rands dispute, proceeds to bury her in a shallow grave

POLICE in Gwanda have arrested one Fedwell Moyo for allegedly murdering his 27 years old wifeafter a heated argument over 300 rands.

The suspect allegedly hit his wife, Nomathemba Msipa (27) with a log and stone on the head and leg after an argument over ZAR 300 cash.

“He went on to bury the victim in a shallow grave in the field after discovering that she had died. The body of the victim was exhumed by the police on 13/03/23,” said ZRP in a statement.

 In yet another incident , police in Harare confirmed the arrest of Ediso Sani (48) in connection with a case of murder in which Cosmas Zimbo who  died after being stabbed on the chest and neck with a knife at a birthday party on 12/03/23 in Highfield.

Crimes of passion continue to be on the rise due to adultery, failure to resolve marital differences and in most cases claiming the lives of women.
