LEADING beverages manufacturer, Delta Corporation Limited has conferred bursaries to 100 students in yet another gesture demonstrating commitment to meaningfully plough back to society.
Speaking to The Humanitarian Post this week, the company said a total US$100 000 will be spent on the project as part of efforts to spur development among the needy.
“We are supporting learners at various High Schools and Universities across Zimbabwe .Applications to qualify for the program are done through the Primary and Secondary Education Ministry. Recommendations are then made to the company,” Delta spokesperson, Patricia Murambinda said.
She said the 2025 Delta Corporation Bursary Program is testament of the beverages manufacturer’s belief that education is the foundation of a brighter future—not just for individuals but for communities and the nation at large.
“This bursary is more than just financial support; it is a partnership between beneficiaries and Delta Corporation. We are investing in their dreams because we believe that their success will contribute to the growth and development of our society. We trust that they will use this opportunity to excel in their studies and develop the skills necessary to become leaders in your respective fields,” said Murambinda.
She implored the beneficiaries to remain disciplined and uphold the values of excellence, integrity, and innovation highlighting that such are the same principles that drive Delta Corporation.
“To our bursary recipients, know that this opportunity comes with responsibility. Seize it with both hands, aim high, and always strive to give back to your communities. Delta Corporation will continue to support and guide you, and we look forward to witnessing your growth and achievements in the years to come,” she said.
