After receiving US$200k, top range SUV-  Matinyarare pleads to Amai Aux Mnangagwa for forgiveness

By Staff Reporter

Rutendo Matinyarare publicly apologized to First Lady Dr. Auxillia Mnangagwa, President Emmerson Mnangagwa, and their children.

This shift in stance came after he accepted an initial USD $200,000 settlement from presidential advisor Dr. Paul Tungwarara to resolve outstanding invoices for prior services.

Matinyarare, a former government critic and pro-sanctions activist, had been publicly attacking the First Family. He claimed the administration left him stranded and impoverished, comparing himself to an “abandoned slave” despite risking his life and business to fight foreign sanctions and GMOs.

Presidential investment advisor Dr. Paul Tungwarara stepped in to de-escalate the conflict. He publicly offered Matinyarare a luxury vehicle and a roundtable discussion, along with an initial payment of USD $200,000 toward his outstanding invoices.

Following Tungwarara’s offer, Matinyarare publicly admitted his mistakes and issued an apology. He committed to no longer involving the President or First Family in his disputes and agreed to future reconciliatory discussions.

Public and social media commentary surrounding the resolution has been highly critical and skeptical. Many observers view the payment as a “quid pro quo” aimed entirely at silencing a vocal critic. [1]
