Activist Rutendo Matinyarare has called former Norton MP Temba Mliswa a liability to President Mnangagwa and a divisive figure who uses proximity to power to intimidate others, accusing him of hypocrisy over his attacks on Prophet Uebert Angel.
Matinyarare said Mliswa was warned but keeps causing divisions citing his reckless Iran remarks amid US negotiations, attacks on pastors in politics despite Zanu PF’s use of the pulpit, and recordings with damning allegations against the President and denigration of the First Family and Kuda Tagwirei and insisted no one has insulted Mnangagwa more than him.
Officials Mliswa has criticised despite presidential appointment include Agriculture Minister Anxious Masuka (“false prophet”), former Sports Minister Kirsty Coventry (urged fired), Local Government Minister July Moyo (Harare water crisis), Defence Minister Oppah Muchinguri-Kashiri (security-sector corruption) and VP Constantino Chiwenga (accused of undermining the President).
