Sir Wicknell Chivayo has marked President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s 84th birthday with a US$2 million gesture dedicated to the families of Zimbabwe’s fallen National Heroes.
The initiative will see 40 families receive US$50,000 each, providing meaningful support while honouring the sacrifices made by those who dedicated their lives to the liberation and development of Zimbabwe.
Rather than focusing on a personal birthday gift, the gesture places the spotlight on remembrance, gratitude and the families left behind by those who served the nation.
