Tzu Chi Foundation plots C-Section for Kuwadzana Clinic’s Maternity ward

THE Tzu Chi Foundation has tabled plans to construct a state of the art Caesarean Section at the Kuwadzana Polyclinic’s Maternity ward.
The latest details were revealed by Harare City Council (HCC) mayor ,his worship, Jacob Mafume during a Council meeting.
” We hosted a delegation frm the Tzu Chi Foundation who are interested in the Kuwadzana Polyclinic Maternity ward .The delegation was led by the foundation’s Vice President and CEO.They want to build a maternity clinic with a Ceasarean section in Kuwadzana.This will enable smooth births and limit travel to hospitals.We are excited about that,” he said.
Tzu Chi, the world’s largest Buddhist humanitarian organization, was founded in Taiwan by Buddhist nun Dharma Master Cheng Yen in 1966. It has over 10 million volunteers working in more than 60 countries, with relief operations extended to over 120 countries.
It is operated by a worldwide network of volunteers and employees and has been awarded a special consultative status at the United Nations Economic and Social Council (UN ECOSOC).
Tzu Chi Foundation has been in the Philippines for 27 years, working in disaster-stricken areas and transforming lives through its various programs in disaster relief and rehabilitation, education, medicine, and environmental protection.
The Foundation has assisted Zimbabweans in several ways through its humanitarian programs over the years of its existence in the nation.
