Zim’s first Coronavirus victim laid to rest

THE late  Zororo Makamba (30) who died on Monday after being the first Zimbabwean to  succumb to to deadly  coronavirus disease (COVID-19) was laid to rest on Tuesday at the family’s Blue- Ridge farm just outside Harare.

Zororo is the last son of business mogul and career journalist James Makamba.

He died at Wilkins Hospital.

Very few close family members attended the burial for fear of passing on the virus.

His death has stirred the emotions of many people after allegations revealing government’s unpreparedness and reluctance in dealing with Coronavirus .
