Zim’s Covid19 cases rise to 40

ZIMBABWE’s confirmed COVID19 cases have risen to 40 after eight more people tested positive for the virus.
The latest Health Ministry’s update shows that Bulawayo and Harare continue to take a lead.
“The Ministry would like to report that two of the PCR test done in Bulawayo on the 28th of April 2020 were positive of Covid19.Today , a total of 355 tests were done , giving a total of 7642 screening and diagnostic tests done to date.All the PCR tests done in Bulawayo were negative for Covid19.Of the PCR tests done in Harare to day, six were positive of Covid19,” the update said.
Therefore to date Zimbabwe now has forty confirmed cases including five recoveries and four deaths.
Further details on Harare’s cases were not immediately availed.
Case#33 is a seventy year old male resident of Bulawayo, who returned from the United Kingdom on March 18 2020. Currently in a stable condition with mild symptoms.
