ZIMBABWE recorded 322 new cases and 30 deaths in the last 24 hours signifying slight reductions as stated below:
322 New Cases and 30 Deaths reported in the last 24 hours. (7 day rolling average* for
new cases falls to 818 from 911 yesterday).
• 321 are local cases and 1 is a returnee from Botswana: 118 cases are from Harare
(Deaths locations are shown in the table)
• 1485 PCR tests done today (Positivity today was 22%)
• 640 new recoveries reported: National Recovery rate stands at 60.7% and Active
cases go down to 9978 today
• As of 17 January 2021, Zimbabwe has now recorded 27203 Cases 16512
recoveries and 713 Deaths.
