TWO bogus candidates masquerading as Citizens for Change Coalition (CCC) political party candidates have been arrested during the Zimbabwe Elections Commission (ZEC) multi-party stakeholder meeting.
They were arrested by the citizens and handed over to the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP)
The duo includes Terrence Khumbula of Hunyani Constituency and Trouble Hasha of Harare South.
Initial investigations by CCC showed that 41 bogus candidates filed their papers purporting to have been endorsed by the party and in the process frustrating the tightly knit process.The main opposition however suspects that such candidates are working in cahoots with the ruling Zanu-pf party to diminish the CCC impact.
