Residents body backs The Hills Lifestyle Estate project

THE Zimbabwe National Organisation of Associations and Residents Trust (ZNOART) have hailed the Hills Lifestyle Estate for adhering to environmental best practices.

Dubbed the new Harare North, the Hills Lifestyle Estate is a secure gated community nestled in the lush greenery of Zimbabwe’s first USGA-length golf course. This ultra-luxury estate redefines modern living with a full suite of residential, commercial, and recreational offerings.

Speaking to The Humanitarian Post recently, ZNOART National Chairman Shalvar Chikomba hailed the WestProp Holdings Limited project for living up to expectations.

“In terms of our wetlands, we were advocating to preserve our wetlands as residence. What we have seen here shows that that they are trying so much to preserve our wetlands, which is a very important thing in the people’s livelihoods.

“So in terms of humanitarian, we think this is a good project. Remember, every person has got a right to a roof. And of course, this is a bit up for most people, but this is needed for a country.  And what we can say as residents is we are happy with the project,” he said.

He said ZONART had waited for too long to familiarize with WestProp’s projects before finally getting an opportunity to visit The Hills Lifestyle Estate.

“This is one of the best projects because I heard the CEO talking about bringing PGA here.  So in terms of tourism, this is good for Africa. Remember, PGA, before we had South Africa. But now if it comes to Zimbabwe, what we can say is in terms of rating in the international world, this is one of the best projects which we have seen,” added Chikomba.
