Property tycoon, Ken Sharpe honored at ZIM awards, passes accolade to Nakiso Boreholes

PROPERTY tycoon, Ken Sharpe was conferred the prestigious Businessman of the Year 2023 at an occasion where WestProp Holdings Limited was conferred the Zimbabwe Institute of Management Private  sector award  of the year.

The entity which is listed on the US$ denominated Victoria Falls Exchange (VFEX) listed rising property firm took note of the undeniable impact made by the game-changing property firm.

Sharpe dedicated the accolade to his wife Joanna and the management team for setting crystal clear goals.

He also shocked the attendants when he passed his award to Lincoln Masiyanyama the owner of Nakiso Boreholes saying  life and growth story of Masiyanyama had enthused him, having started as a street vendor and bus conductor, graduating to a courier and eventually an owner of a borehole company employing over 80 people.

“I would like my friend Lincoln to hang this award in his office so that he gets inspired to win the same award one day. The young people of our country give me hope and he is part of that better future” Sharpe said.

Masiyanyama was the runner up in the Young Leader of the Year award category.

WestProp has shaken the country’s conservative property market by incepting modest architectural designs hinged on densification in order to converge luxury in a country with a swelling population.
