Hundreds of Catholic priests in Zimbabwe Thursday received the Covid19 sinopharm vaccine becoming one of the largest uptake by members of a single organisation so far.
Updates reaching Humanitarian Post indicate that over 50 % of priests in the country received the jab.
“About 288 out of 416 priests and religious under the Catholic Archdiocese of Harare were vaccinated with the Sinopharm vaccine at the Jubilee Hall in the capital today,” a source within the Catholic Community said.
The massvie inoculation hit a blow to theorists who are discouraging the vaccine’s uptake.
Several studies done in the United Arab Emirates indicate that the jab is one of the global safest with very few side effects.
