THE Trial of murder suspect Jason Muvevi has kicked off before High Court judge Gibson Mandaza.
He pleaded not guilty to four murder counts and eight attempted murder charges.
A former police officer and gold dealer, Muvevi is currently on trial at the Harare High Court where he faces multiple charges, including four counts of murder and four counts of attempted murder, following a shooting spree in Wedza in January 2023.
After being committed to the Chikurubi Psychiatric Unit in 2023 due to mental illness, recent medical examinations declared him mentally fit to face trial.
