MDC-T leader , Douglas Mwonzora ,Wednesday was struck another blow foring him to cancel a rally in the City of Chinhoyi after a parltry crowd estimated at 30 people turned out for the event.
Sources in Chinhoyi told The Humanitarian Post that a crowd of around 30 people turned out to meet their leader in a development which irked Mwonzora to the extent of calling off the event.
The controversial opposition leader has failed to draw a reasonable gathering of supporters lately prompting many to question his impact ahead of forthcoming by-elections.
He has performed dismally in Harare where a small crowd convened for his rally before moving to Bulawayo where an estimated crowd of 300 graced his rally.
The Chinhoyi convention becomes the third time the โghostlyโ political party leader has has failed the litmus test of proving his political spineโs worth.
