Staff Writer

ZIMBAWE National Students Union (ZINASU) leader, Takudawa Ngadziore was Friday morning granted $5 000 bail after after spending almost one month in custody.

He was attacked by armed men in plain clothes on 18 September 2020 while he was addressing a press conference in the vicinity of Impala Car Rental following his release from remand prison.

On 21 September 2020 he was denied bail on the basis that releasing him will “undermine the peace”.
On 1 October 2020, it marked 13 days after arrest for addressing a news conference near Impala Car Rental

“We thank our lawyer Webster Jiti for his perseverance in ensuring that @ngadziore  is released from prison where he had been detained for a long period,” Zimbabwe Lawyers for Human Rights said in an update.
