Human rights lawyers dispatched to assist arrested MDC legislator and councillor

ZIMBABWE Lawyers for Human Rights (ZLHR) says it has dispatched legal experts in the eastern part of the country, Zimbabwe to assist Mutasa South legislator, Honourable Regai Tsunga and councillor Farai Bhiza who were arrested today for donating maize meal.
The duo is being charged for “charged for unnecessary movement in breach of lockdown regulations as they assisted people to access maize meal”
Several people in Zimbabwe have been rendered desperate due to the Covid19 lockdown.
