Global Covid19 confirmed cases hit 14.5 million as deaths rise to 606 000

Globally, the total confirmed cases of Covid-19 have reached over 14,508,000 with more than 606,000 deaths and 8,134,000 recoveries

The United States remains number one for the highest number of confirmed Covid-19 cases globally with over 3,773,000 confirmed cases.

The top five states with the highest total number of cases per million population are New York, California, Florida, Texas and New Jersey.

The top five states with the highest number of deaths per million population are New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, California and Illinois.

India now has over one million confirmed Covid-19 cases, the third highest globally.

Russia has the fourth highest number of confirmed Covid-19 cases globally with over 770,000 confirmed cases. However, the five day average for new confirmed Covid-19 cases has decreased.
