THE China Aid Agricultural Experts has launched a new agricultural demonstration centre in Zindi village, Shamva, Zimbabwe.
This centre aims to equip smallholder farmers with essential skills in crop production, manure production and the use of agricultural machinery specifically designed for small-scale farming.
The initiative marks the second demonstration centre established by the China Aid Agricultural Experts in Zimbabwe. The first centre, located in Zvimba, Murombedzi, focuses on supporting farmers in rabbit and indigenous chicken production.
Since its establishment in 2019, the Zvimba centre has seen significant progress, with local firm Raymeg Consultants Private Limited recently partnering with China Aid Agricultural Experts to provide farmers with purebred rabbit stock.
A team from China Agricultural Experts from China Aid, led by Zhao Ke, is on Friday set to run a two-day training session in Shamva.
The training will cover citrus and other crop production, animal feed production as well as the use of advanced agricultural machinery from China.
