AirZim set to leave for London at 20:30 hrs after slight operational glitch

Air Zimbabwe’s recently revived Harare-London is scheduled to depart Harare for London on the 3rd of August 2026 at 2030hrs.
The Airline has demonstrated consistency and commitment to service the route since its re-establishment.
The return service, Flight UM725, has also been rescheduled and will depart Gatwick on August 4 before arriving in Harare later that day.
The service is being operated using a wet-leased Airbus A330-300 sourced from a Spanish carrier, the same aircraft involved in the recent disruptions.
Experiencing operational challenges when launching or reinstating services is normal across the globe.
The London route is regarded as a key link for Zimbabweans travelling for business, education, tourism, and family commitments, while also serving as a critical component of Air Zimbabwe’s broader strategy to re-establish itself in international markets.
Air Zimbabwe said affected passengers are being contacted directly and assisted with revised travel arrangements. The airline also apologised for the inconvenience caused by the postponement.
