Chivayo ally, Flotcher Dispenser punches fellow prophet in nasty row

A dispute at a Johane Masowe church along Whitehouse in Harare reportedly turned violent after Madzibaba Shadreck confronted Madzibaba Flotcher over allegedly destroyed anointed items.
Madzibaba Shadreck confronted Flotcher at a shrine located next to his, demanding answers over the destruction of items regarded as sacred.
The confrontation allegedly escalated, with Shadreck reportedly being punched in front of worshippers and other witnesses.
“Mukomana akarohwa chibhakera paMasowe panevanhu,” a source said, alleging that Shadreck was assaulted at the shrine while people watched.
The source further alleged that Madzibaba Flotcher and another prophet were involved in the incident. Flotcher is said to have left the scene shortly afterwards, prompting Shadreck to report the matter at Dzivarasekwa Police Station.
The circumstances surrounding the alleged destruction of the anointed items remain unclear. It was also not immediately established whether a formal docket had been opened, whether anyone had been arrested or whether Shadreck underwent a medical examination.
The incident has reportedly intensified tensions within sections of the Johane Masowe community, with some members accusing Flotcher of bullying and belittling other prophets.
Sources also alleged that Flotcher’s perceived connections to ruling-party officials and other influential figures have contributed to a belief that he acts with impunity. The Zimbabwe Times could not independently verify those claims.
