A Night of Triumph: Mrs. Tatiana Ellis Claims Pole Position

WINNING has become part of WestProp chief operating officer Mrs Tatiana Ellis and Mrs Joanna Sharpe – the chief relations officer’s culture.

Last Friday – Mrs Ellis was all smiles as she scooped the coveted ‘Outstanding Woman in Business of the Year in the Private Sector’ at the MegaFest Women in Business Awards ceremony.

Mrs Ellis is the most senior woman employee at WestProp – she also sits on the company’s board making her a key decision maker.
WestProp are the developers behind prestigious projects like Pomona City, Millennium Heights, Pokugara, and The Luxury Hills Golf Estate.

She clinched the coveted pole position ahead of 200 remarkable nominees spread across 40 categories.

The award was more than a recognition of her personal achievements – but a testament to her exceptional leadership in driving major developments like Pomona City, Millennium Heights, Pokugara, and The Hills Golf Estate. Mrs Ellis plays a pivotal role in the company’s landmark projects.

With WestProp’s notable projects shaping Zimbabwe’s urban landscape, Mrs. Ellis’s leadership has been instrumental. Her work has contributed to the growth and success of these developments, impacting the real estate sector and communities.

The MegaFest Women in Business Awards spotlighted her accomplishments, cementing her status as a role model for aspiring women in business in Zimbabwe and beyond.
Mrs Sharpe walked home with the ‘Diamond award in the outstanding woman in humanitarian work category. She has shown tremendous effort and work in uplifting the lives of others.

Mrs Ellis was all humility in her acceptance speech.

“This award is not just about me. It represents the hard work, the late nights, the doubts, the setbacks – and most importantly, the support of the people around me that always stand by me,” she said.

She acknowledged WestProp chief executive Mr Ken Sharpe for his visionary leadership and the One Billion Brick Vision.
