FOUR minor children suffocated to death in a disused vehicle at Hopley Thursday in one of the saddest developments which have left the community in disarray.
The tragedy was confirmed by the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) Friday.
“The ZRP confirms a sad incident in which Allen Busiri (3) Anotidaishe Mutize (3) and Kudzaishe Tsuro (3) Ashley Matowe (3) died on February 15th 2024.
“The juveniles opened a rear passenger door of a Black Toyota Chaser motor vehicle registration number ADE 2684 (non-runner).They went in and closed the door. The vehicle which has tinted windows was parked at a house in Hopley Zone 1, Harare between12 noon and 19:00hrs,” the police said.
The victims suffocated while in the vehicle and teir bodies were found lying lifeless in the motor vehicle at 19:00 hrs.
