Fresh investigative details have emerged following a tragic double-fatality in Harare’s Glen View 3 suburb, where a local couple died on Wednesday morning in an apparent joint poisoning incident that has left the community in deep shock.

According to the latest findings from the scene, the husband and wife ingested a lethal poisonous substance in the early hours of September 23, 2026. Witnesses and neighbors who arrived at the residence reported that the wife had already succumbed to the poison by the time the household woke up.

Tragically, it was the couple’s children who first raised the alarm after discovering their father in critical distress. The children found their father foaming at the mouth and vomiting severely while their mother lay motionless alongside him.
