ZRP arrests three suspects, 17 goats recovered

Police in Beatrice have arrested three men in connection with a stock theft case involving stolen Boer cross-breed goats.
The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) intercepted the suspects as they were driving 16 of the goats through the bushes. This was happening about 10 kilometres away from the farmer’s plot.

Following further investigations, officers searched a homestead belonging to one of the suspects and recovered one more goat, bringing the total number of recovered goats to 17.
The three suspects arrested by the police are: Enerst Majoni (38 years old), Tawana Matawu (18 years old) and Starlin Chari (31 years old)
The crime originally took place on 10 September 2026. The successful tracking and arrest are part of an intensified anti-stock theft campaign being carried out across the Mashonaland East Province to protect local farmers and their
