WestProp Holdings Announced as Lead Sponsor for Major Investment Forums

Business Reporter

WestProp Holdings Limited, a prominent player in Zimbabwe’s property sector, is the  lead sponsor for the upcoming ZimReal 2026 and the inaugural Zim Future Capital Forum (ZFCF), both set to take place next month.

The ZFCF, held alongside the 6th Annual ZimReal Property Forum, will be the nation’s first event to focus on connecting institutional capital with bankable assets within Zimbabwe.

The forum aims to bring together capital seekers and allocators to foster meaningful investment opportunities and generate actionable deal flows.

WestProp Holdings leads the sponsorship lineup, with Terrace Africa and Kings City joining as Silver sponsors. Other industry sponsors include Alliance Media, Tigere Property Fund, Old Mutual, and Pfuma Fund, among several others. Together, ZimReal and ZFCF are anticipated to draw over 400 delegates from more than 100 organizations, representing local, regional, and international interests.

Murray Anderson, API Events Commercial Director, highlighted the timeliness of the event, stating, “Zimbabwe’s capital markets have just undergone possibly their most significant transformation in a generation.

“The necessary infrastructure has been built over the past two years, but reforms only make an impact when they connect with the market. That’s the purpose of ZFCF. The capital exists, and now the products are here; this forum will bring them together.”

Benedict Chisale, General Manager of the Investor Hosting Centre (IHC), which serves as a platform for global investment in Africa, noted recent reforms that have strengthened Zimbabwe’s investment climate.

“The next step is to establish a steady flow of well-prepared, bankable opportunities that satisfy institutional investor criteria,” Chisale explained.

He said that while liquidity is available through pension funds, asset managers, and other institutions, the central challenge remains converting available capital into investment-ready projects.

“Zimbabwe does not lack capital; its challenge is bankability. Success in this new era will belong to those who can create investable opportunities that inspire confidence. That’s the crucial conversation the Zimbabwe Future Capital Forum should lead,” added Chisale.
